So my band is starting to mix our record, and we've found that the bleed from the cymbals is pretty bad. Our drummer plays his cymbals pretty close to the shells, and the engineer we went with didn't try to get his cymbals pulled up. The hi-hat and crashes poke through like mad on the snare, and render it basically useless even with gating and the like.
However, we really like his snare sound, and as a guy who joined the band a release or two in, I think his snare is a big part of our sound. So I want a sample that sounds similar to it, which is a Black Panther Phantom. Here is a recording of him during the tracking:
Could anyone help me find one like this? Either paid or free, it doesn't bother me, because I need it for both this record and demos in the future.
