Check out Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown, PA. Tends to be a pretty badass place, but I haven't been there in a year or so.

They have an upstairs big room and downstairs hallway with a stage, my band played with Car Bomb and Belle Morte there. Nice Pizza joint out front as well.

The Trocedaro in Philly is my favorite semi local venue.

Alot of guys talking about PA/philly. That's surprising because I always thought places more north would have been better and it's very funny to hear the troc being called the "Haven for metal on the east coast". Every time I've heard a national act their, it sounds horrible.

It's also funny that the Whiskey Tango in NE Philly has been booking a lot of national metal acts lately. It's def a couple steps above the average bar but it's def not the place I think of when someone mentions a King Diamond or Misfits show.

9:30 club in DC is pretty good, saw Born of Osiris there a month or so ago. They don't do a lot of metal shows there, but it's worth a shot.
