I'm talking about crysis 2. So far seems like an awesome game, much better than the first. But, did anyone else get some really "half-life" vibes from it? At times it looks and plays the way I imagined half life 3 will do.

I get that same feeling of the story being told through the environment that Half-Life gives me, which is only a good thing!

From what I have seen of Crysis 2, I don't think you need to play the first one. Crysis was kinda shit anyway. Mega hype just because nobody could run it at full settings at the time, yet it brought nothing new to the table for first person shooters. Play Far Cry and then imagine a game set in almost the same setting but about 40% as good and you have Crysis.
 
crysis was awesome IMHO, i am not a big fan of futuristic shooter games but this one was really good.
warhead was cool also but not that gripping. stoked to play crysis 2, i think my HD5870 should be able
to get it running in good quality :D

half life is one of my favorite games evahhhhh, didn't play HL2 though,
i just could not stand the stupid bitch saying GOD'N instead of GORDON (german version)

But yeah, Crysis 1 sucked ass.
I hated the fact that you had to hit your enemy like 5 times in the head before they died.. made no sense what so ever.
 
Play the English version then Soultrash!
HL2 rules!!

And I really liked Crysis 1, infact I've enjoyed pretty much everything Crytek have made. Far Cry 1, Crysis 1 and Warhead, Crysis 2... All really good games that I have replayed many times.
 
was looking forward to get the english version but never found a good offer.
getting it new for 20-30€ is too expensive, i'm poor as fuck atm :3
 
I bought Crysis 2 this weekend for my PS3 and I'm totally disappointed. I feel like I just wasted my 100 bucks. I should buy Killzone 3. :erk:
 
I don't get the plot, why are the soldiers in white trying to kill me? Who the fuck is Gould and why is he speaking to me? Did anyone else get seriously dissapointed when you saw an alien enemy the first time? Having lots of fun with cloak mode and Ranged Scar head shots by the way :P
 
Story sucks, gameplay is too stylish for me to give a damn.
SLIDING DOWN A SLOPE ON MY BACK FIRING A SILENCED SHOTGUN AT AN ALIEN THEN JUMPING ON TOP OF A TRUCK AND FIRING A FUCKING ROCKET LAUNCHER then cloaking and having enemies be all like WHAT THE FUCK MAN

Anyone who still cares that the plot sucks after reading that clearly has their priorities messed up.
