So...How about now?

"You switch attitude."
Of course it does. It reflects the change in attitude of the deliverance of the vocals.

"Personification does not fix that."
Its getting really tiresome proving you wrong by having to quote dictionary.com
"the attribution of a personal nature or character to inanimate objects or abstract notions"

"I'm not the one writing about virgins excreting demigod semen"
That would be a shitty song. It doesn't make sense.

"You can't just switch perspective willy nilly and expect it to make sense."
Its pretty willy in the sense that the vocals change in tone to reflect this. The nilly would be your inert arguments/

"That's the problem. You were wandering... and... you had gasoline."
Yes they were. You're saying that if you were lost in the wilderness that you'd leave your supplies behind? Hmmm....You're a strange dude. Your last name isn't McCandless is it?

"I'm assuming, based on my experiences out in the wilderness, you may have had a stock of stones you collected in order to make a camp fire. Not that uncommon when you're camping."
Exactly. Nullifying your own argument. What about when you said:
"God damn, considering you're stranded, you're quite well stocked up. I mean, why not just find an animal in this case. You have gasoline, you have stones..."
You said it as if stones were abnormal to find in NATURE!

"Carrion does not mean that."
Another one for dictionary.com to handle: "carrion noun the dead and rotting body of an animal; unfit for human food"
Notice the semicolon.

"Jesus christ dude... "
Don't bring him into this. Everything sounds stupid when you dumb it down. I could write a song about eating a baked potato, but the words could make it sound like more. Its music.

I find it funny that you are the only one who continuously attacks this band every time I bring it up. I strongly believe that I received more attention as a lurker than you have on this board at all. I've read the threads man.

Haha dictionary.com

You're classic.

That's nice you receive so much attention. I'm happy you feel so popular. I'm just glad that in the end of the day, I'm not the person writing horrid lyrics in a hopeless deathgorecore band.

"Haha dictionary.com"
Its very funny how factual statements prove your ignorance to the English language. Come on! You didn't even know what personification was. I never understood why people "haha" and "lol" when presented with dictionaries and Wikipedia. What's to laugh about. You're wrong. Shouldn't I be there to laugh?

I can easily write a song about eating a baked potato without it sounding like more. SEE:

I picked you out
such a golden brown
accept it, potato
ACCEPT YOUR CROWN

From the oven
to my plate
soon to reach
your digestive fate

In my oven
You cooked so Well
In my oven
Hotter than hell

I cut you open
I cut you in half
I cut you smiling
I cut you with a laugh

In my oven
You cooked so well
In my oven
Hotter than hell

From fork to mouth
tasting so great
soon to reach
your digestive fate

My bowels rumbled
as you made your way
to my toilet bowl
the swireling fray

In my bowels
you were irate
you have reached
your digestive fate

Not that fucking hard.

Maybe people laugh because Wikipedia and Dictionary.com have been known to have various inaccuracies due to their collection from multiple, not always sensible, sources.

But yeah, you can laugh if you want. No one will mind.

I was starting to feel I just wasted several minutes of my life reading this thread and then I happened upon EricT's song about a potato. Awesome.

Damn! One day I was gonna parody "Cry My Name" by Bloodbath and rewrite the lyrics to be about a baked potato. Damn you Eric!

Actually studies have shown that wikipedia tends to be just as accurate as any other source, so no, there's no reason to laugh. Granted, it's not recommended to use wikipedia as a source in an academic paper, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with using it, or dictionary.com. So yeah, you should be the one laughed at here.

I could simply go and edit the wikipedia entry for New Guinea's roll in WW2 being that of a marine brothel. It would not be fixed for at least an hour, and at least 3 jackasses would believe it. Sometimes people don't catch these things for weeks. Some large details, some small, they can all be bullshitted on those type of sites. Anything that allows assholes to access it's information is not solid, and honestly? I try not to use it.

Either way, I like EricT for funnies.
The music is at least ok right?
Sure there's things to work on, but its a step up, no?

Actually EricT, if you edit something to be inaccurate, it is changed within 10-15 minutes. It goes thru a screening for the moderators to review. There are hundreds of mods.

he's right. i randomly looked up steel reserve (the beverage) one time and it said, "steel reserve: also known as dirty cunt juice." it was up for at least a week and a half.

It was up for AGES.

There is a difference in Wikipedia about a person and something historical and/or scientific.

Yeah, one tends to be horribly inaccurate, and the other is either somewhat inaccurate to horribly inaccurate depending on how many wiki-fuckers are out playing.
