I've never had long hair personally even though all my metalhead friends rag on me for not having "metal length" hair. Not super short though, just long enough that it doesn't take forever to dry after washing my hair.

I can't say I've got short hair. It's upto to my shoulders. But the only reason I've got long hair is 'cause I'm 5'11" and weigh 180 pounds. So yeh, my face would look like a baloon with short hair. As soon as I reach 154 pounds, I'm turning into a post-2000 Bruce Dickinson wannabe. I'm on Atkin's diet and I jog 5 miles every morning.

Congrats on the hair cut. But I guess you gotta shower without me.

Cut the major length of my hair about 10 years ago, longest its gotten since is to the collar but I dont miss it. Its cooler, easier to maintain, and I seem to get more respect at work

I cut mine a little over a year ago. Donated a little over 2 feet to Locks For Love or whatever the hell it's called.

I was sick of finding 2 feet pieces of hair literally everywhere. Hard decision though after having it for 5 years. If I was still in a band and playing shows, I'd pry keep it.

Don't miss having it in my face, in my food, taking forever in the shower, getting caught in things, frizzy shorter hairs. It feels good. People don't look at me like I'm some sort of druggie or criminal. I can wear hats again. I look younger. I'm 23 and have to show my fuckin' ID to buy a lottery ticket.

Now it gets annoying if it touches my ears and I have to go get it cut again. I do miss not having to pay for hair cuts.

I cut my hair off 2 years ago after starting growing it in 1988 (I think I had about 5 "trims" to tidy it up a bit in 19 years). BAD mistake. Short hair just doesn't suit me (or anyone IMNSHO ), and I jiust didn't feel like me anymoe.

Needless to say, after about 3 months I started growing it again. The only time I would consider cutting it all off again is if I was going bald, and then it would have to be shaved rather than just short I think.

and I love it... although its a bitch to take care of it and all that, it's well worth it... Chicks always diggg long hair

I had long hair for most of my teens and 20's, cut it to about shoulder length for most of my 30's, but at 36 it all went away - Cancer can do that. Even though my hair has returned, I keep it short now, just much easier to maintain - wash, rinse, go...
