You crotchrockets that like them...whats their best one?

I figure since Maren hates them I gotta load up on some for the sheer purpose of blasting to wake her up or otherwise make a dink of myself.

Into Glory Ride or Hail to England are usually viewed as the best.

Indeed. Those are the two I enjoy. The rest aren't for me. Most people who despise Manowar are just ignorantly despising them without even hearing these albums just based on their goofy image.

This thread is for me!

Well, the first four Manowar albums are wonderful. I think that Into Glory Ride is the best, but also Hail to England (as mentioned above) has some of the most wonderful songs ever written (Bridge of Death, Blood of My Enemies).

Sign of the Hammer is also a perfect choice, and Battle Hymns too (it has a hard rock groove in many songs, but it's a very good albums with epic songs like Battle Hymn and Dark Avenger).

But I also like Triumph of Steel, Kings of Metal (the album that turned me to metal music:cool: ) and Fighting the World, although the lyrics don't seem mature anymore.

it's pretty funny to hear that people here like Manowar, and don't like bands like Wuthering Heights because it's too cheesy and over-the-top. Go figure.

Manowar AND Wuthering Heights both rule. But for purposes of this thread I'd recommend "Into the Glory Ride" and "Hail to England." And if you like Manowar then you need to get some goddamn Virgin Steele as well.

Krig, no punching you. But goddamn I need to send you an album asap because yes, you need some fucking Manowar.

And yes, I own every album they've put out. If you have a problem with this, you are welcome to come visit me in Flagstaff, Arizona. :)
