SABBAT, MANILLA ROAD and INFERNAL MAJESTY (local band for me) are all I've heard from that list. IM is good, but come on... if we're gonna talk Toronto 80s thrash, where's the SACRIFICE and SLAUGHTER? I know there's a lot more, but I've never heard 'em.

ANGUS - typical heavy metal, mediocre
DEFENDER - THESE GUYS FUCKING RULE, EVERY METALHEAD SHOULD LISTEN TO THEM, EUROPEAN SPEED METAL WITH BALLS AND SLAUGHTERING RIFF ATTACK.
GRIFFIN these are good, but not speed or thrash if you ask me
HEXX - these are good too but i prefer their non thrash period, "No Escape" album that is, which is just divine heavy metal
HOLY TERROR - no opinion
INFERNAL MAJESTY - classic
IRONSWORD - ok for me this band is ridiculus, all their riffs/melodies are copied from Omen or Manilla Road
LORD VADER - dont know
(Mid Career) MANILLA ROAD - yea every thrash metal fan should love "Out Of The Abyss" or "Mystification"
SABBAT(Japan) - dont know
SAVAGE GRACE - classic band, "After The Fall Of Grace" is great epic heavy metal and "Master Of Disguise" superbe speed metal.
TYRANT'S REIGN - overhyped because of their cult status
ULYSSES SIREN - they RULE, best thrash metal album since the first Haunted

DVD part two will be published at the beginning of 2006 and contain the history from 1996 to 2005 when there was no more line up change, as you know. But the material, which has been collected over these years is almost inexhaustibly and is now being sighted and evaluated. You can barely imagine, what you'll get to see and hear, because in this period a camera was always at hand. This double DVD will also have a play time of more than five hours. More details later.
The new album will be published in January, according to SPV. Drum and guitar tracks are complete, I will do my parts in June/July. To us it will be the most important, and as I believe also the best Sodom album of all times.

Furthermore many live activities are planned. Hope to meet some of you there for some beer.... once again, thank you for your understanding and your patience.

Believe me, i hate The Haunted now. But their debut is a thrash metal masterpiece, and thats a fact. I cant understand why a thrasher (old school-er or not) wouldnt like it, its totally Slayer oriented with some of the most inspiring post 80s thrash metal rifs

I've over trying to convince you people about the Haunted debut. It's a masterpiece, no two ways about it. If you don't like it, you ain't a thrasher.
 
I'd say the first Haunted is some pretty good thrash with some pretty below average vocals.
