nearly every argument you make is based on fallicious comments. You should seriously consider familiarizing yourself with the basic logical fallacies so you stop committing them. I hope this is a lot of fun for you, because otherwise you're wasting your time. Yes, of course i have heard those songs. He didn't ask for music without guitars. he asked for music with a similar feel, and the entire Weiland album has pretty much exactly that feel. If you don't understand why so many people reccomended Empyrium it doesn't mean you are right, that is not how logic works. Besides, if you're going to reccomend something like Daargard, why don't you reccomend any of the numerous better bands on Cold Meat Industries?
You know about prog rock. You know about metal. You're now talking about a territory you don't know as much as some people here, so stop acting like he asked for a prog rock reccomendation.
Actually, since i am bored, i'm going to do something to benefit you so maybe you learn how to form logical arguments, instead of fallicious ones.

wow, what a very moronic post.
Logical Fallacy #1: Appeal To Ridicule
This sort of "reasoning" is fallacious because mocking a claim does not show that it is false. The Appeal to Ridicule is a fallacy in which ridicule or mockery is substituted for evidence in an "argument."

have you ever heard the misshapen steed or Foliorum Viridium?! there isnt a single drum hit, or guitar pluck in either song you nunce! How would empyrium be a better choice than a medieval darkwave act whatsoever?!
Logical Fallacy #2: Hasty Generalization
You committed this fallacy when you decided that "ambient yet highly emotional instrumental music" meant it should not have guitars, and anything with guitars is not what is wanted. So the samples he provided had no guitars... so? Does that exemplify all "ambient yet highly emotional instrumental music"? People also commonly commit this fallacy because of laziness or sloppiness. It is very easy to simply take a sample from what happens to be easily available rather than taking the time and effort to generate an adequate sample and draw a justified conclusion.

Your brain must not function properly...i pity you.
Logical Fallacy #3: Ad Hominem Abusive
Ad Hominem Abusive is committed when a person substitutes abusive remarks for evidence when attacking another person's claim or claims. This line of "reasoning" is fallacious because the attack is directed at the person making the claim and not the claim itself. The truth value of a claim is independent of the person making the claim. This seems to be your favorite fallacy to make, as in this one post you committed it 3 times ("you nunce", and "stop taking advice from inferiors" as well).

btw, "wongraven" would also be a good place to check out similar music. i do not lie. stop taking bad advice from inferiors. kthx.
Logical Fallacy #4: Appeal To Authority
An Appeal to Authority is a fallacy with the following form:
1. Person A is (claimed to be) an authority on subject S.
2. Person A makes claim C about subject S.
3. Therefore, C is true.
So tell us, what makes you the resident authority on "ambient yet highly emotional instrumental music"? Is it something you've been really focussing on as your main interest for the last 3 years? hint: It's been something i've really focussed on as my main interest for the last 3 years. I've heard every band you could think of reccomending in this thread. I am not inferior. I know more about this stuff than you, so kindly stop pretending you're the only person worth paying attention to when it comes to "ambient yet highly emotional instrumental music". You simply don't know enough about it to make claims about ambient music.
