Yeah, Cyberdyne is the company that made the Terminator machines. Skynet is the computer network that became self-aware and launched all the nukes on everyone. I think it was made by Cyberdyne as well.

Cyberdyne started to reverse engineer the terminator destroyed in T1 (which they invented in the first place, omgomgomg!), then its headquarters was destroyed by JohnConner, his mom, and the Terminator, then it was re-established as Cyber Research Systems by the US Government, which continues to develop "Terminators" to replace human troops, and continues to Develop Skynet to controll ariel and ground automated troops. Then skynet does its thing and fucks everyone and makes the first terminators build k00ler more l33t terminators etc. etc. Then one gets sent back in time, is killed in T1, Cyberdyne starts to reverse engineer it, John Conner, his mum, and Terminator destroy...well, you get it, haha.
