oh my god you're kidding right? i think moonlapse is going to have an aneurysm when he sees this, and just in case he doesn't i'd start running now and get a head start

By the way, they don't have digital technology that restores non-existent audio. Mike said there was a problem with the DAT (Digital Audio Tape)... that's essentially the master copy for audio recordings... once that's gone, it's all gone baby. Their only option would've been to re-record, or punch-in all those parts, provided they kept the actual mix tapes. Only way to fix it on re-issues would be to book an identical studio, with identical equipment, use that identical equipment with identical settings to punch-in the parts of the album where it happens.
