okay, maybe i dont have the right to say this because i dont think ive ever posted here before, and im sure it's been said other times, but i have been reading all of the various threads where somebody comes up with something they would wish opeth did differently, like sound more like 'anaal gjkdighd' [really bad band name there, haha] or tone down their death vox, or whatever. i just hope that the band doesnt pay any attention at all to what people are saying, cuz i think we all love what they do already, and as long as they dont sell out, or some dirty thing like that, im sure that they will keep on growing/changing like they always have. just have to wait and see how. -end boring rant-

What you say is fine, but this is a forum for discussing Opeth, there are a limit to how many times you can do a 'favourite song from Morningrise' thread and suchlike. Topics covering things people would like to see/not like to see are kinda needed for any forum to last more than 3 weeks. It just makes interesting (or not) discussion.

i agree with the original post, though i wouldnt mind opeth selling out. i mean that means everybody would know about my favorite band, and they would make more and so on...but if you meant that they would make mainstream music to earn money, then that, i must admit, would be a sad thing. but im sure theyd never do that 'cause we already know what kind of a band they are from their albums, interviews and hell, mikael's posts on this board.
