This little clip is just an accompaniment to an article/blog I'm doing about the much-forgotten T75. It's a little bastard of a speaker that people overlook in favour of the V30.

The v30 is, to be honest, my favourite speaker for my kind of tone, but the T75 isn't to be underestimated for a different flavour.

Info:

Guitar was a Jackson DM2m with JB in the bridge, and I quad tracked with this formation: 2 tracks of Peavey 6534+ panned hard left, 2 tracks of Marshall JVM410H on OD2 (essentially a JCM800) panned hard right. However, one track of each amp was boosted with a Maxon OD808, while the other was left raw, with settings adjusted accordingly.

Cab was my bandmate's busted old Marshall 1936 2x12  Mic'd up with a simple Sm57 placed on the edge of the cap/cone, but ever so slightly off axis pointed towards the cap.

My father has that cab...IF the T75 works on something it's cool, but more often than not I ditched it for a V30.
Haven't tried to mic a 4x12 with T75s though, so the 2x12 1936 could be a pretty special beast.
Clip sounds nice!
