Starcraft 2 thread

Yeah I understand your frustration, though it doesn't bug me one bit since I'm used to it being that way from the beta. Terran is overpowered even without those things, though ;)

Is anyone having their system lock up occasionally when exiting Starcraft? Had this half a dozen times out of 2 dozen or so times playing.

The game doesn't exit. You can still move the mouse (starcraft cursor remains) but if you try to open task manager to end the process it freezes mouse, keyboard, everything, not even BSOD.

I had this happen during beta after one of the patches but only on the PC. On the Mac it was fine. But now I have an issue where my Mac lags like crazy after playing a couple of maps.
The only solution is to exit and restart the game. Very annoying. Sometimes I forget to check for the lag and enter a game only to have to leave right away and concede the loss :(

Haha, nah, it's not that bad.

BTW, I started the campaign a couple of days ago and I think they did an awesome job apart from most of the missions force you to build that one new unit and almost nothing else if you are to succeed. I still have about a dozen more missions (playing on Brutal) but we'll see.

I'm in mission 21 or so in the campaing, gonna finish that and the challenges before I get on the internet (because with my current level I would get totally destroyed). I'll throw my name here then.

BTW, destroy the Science Lab in the Media Blitz mission and you'll get to play an awesome secret mission.

Just played a series of 4 comp stomps. It gets pretty hectic, and fun. The most interesting time, it was a 3v3, and both my comrades nearly got annihilated. Fortunately by then I had amassed a whole island worth of cannons and carriers, after which I used the distraction of my teammates getting wiped out to hit the enemy bases HARD. Was a good win.

Kinda afraid to jump back into competitive person vs person play again. Not sure I have the fortitude for it anymore.

Bumping this thread with the actress playing Kerrigan in SC2
