OMG, a couple of friends of mine just gave me a nice present

Honestly though I wanted that collector's edition so bad. I called a bunch of gamestops and play 'n trades as soon as it was announced and they didnt' know anything about it.
Then finally one of the play n trade stores told me they would only be available the day of release, not pre-order.
Then one day while doing errands I decided to randomly go in a Gamestop and ask about it. They told me that you had to pre-order it and they were all sold out
Damn that pissed me off. Still pisses me off thinking about it now.

Anyways, got the regular version and been playing lots. Love this freaking game.
It runs pretty horribly on my 8 Core Mac Pro and that's pretty sad. I can't use high settings and my graphics lag out sometimes after games and I have to restart the game.

^^ That's pretty nasty. A lot of the CE copies were sold out long before launch. Apparently my friends pre-ordered it and they even told my girlfriend to make sure I don't pre-order it as well. Of course I was baffled why she insists that I postpone buying it so I kept asking what that's all about, since I had already saved up to buy it so money weren't an issue and there weren't any other obvious reasons not to. At one point she said I won't get any if I keep asking or if I buy it too soon, so that kinda worked

As for system requirements, it's mainly down to the video card. Performance is almost the same on my e2180 and x3 425 and even on the i5 750 when the same video card is used. I only have ancient cards, unfortunately, so it runs horribly even on low but I tried out a less ancient video card (8500 gt) and it ran perfectly on low, which is good enough for me.

Yeah the reason I was going to the store itself was because I get 10% discount there, but as I say they just guffed on my face so ill grab a copy off Play instead

Some of the campaign missions are retarded. I don't understand how to get through without cheating. The wall of fire one in particular.

The secret mission was fun.

After spending all week on this game and getting no sleep I still feel like I absolutely suck at it. HAHA

So... I haven't played computer games in years.. what do I need to get to decent graphics for this game? I have a Mac Pro, quad 2.66, 7 gigs of ram, 256mb geforce 7300... and I have to play with everything on low. and it looks like a fucking playstation 1 game.

I kinda started boycotting the game later in beta for some various reason(mainly that ,,new,, battle.net xbox online clone with less features than their original batlenet).

Plus can't afford buying games at this moment.

It's not that bad, as long as you have a few friends on-line but I get what you're saying.

I think they nerfed Zerg too much during Beta and buffed Terran way too much as well.

Still, it's an epic epic game and you should buy it whenever you get the chance.

Sure I'll do, single player and custom user maps must be awesome. By the way I've heard you can't play single player mode if their login servers are offline, what a bullshit if you ask me.
