...Starcraft anyone?

Has anyone here ever participated in a playing of this illustrious game? I just discovered it anew this weekend with my roommate and a couple of friends, and the horror of Zerg rush was relearnt again and again.

I'm just barrelling through the individual campaign since I'm at work and being super lazy, and I have to say: wow! This game is still awesome! Why do they not make more games with quality gameplay (even though it's probably 5+ years old, it feels like butter), quality story and good music?!

Basically a classic, even though I'm not a PC gamer in particular. I was never terribly good at it but it was fun as hell to play with some buddies.

I don't play multiplayer games, really. But I usually end up playing Starcraft at least once per year from start to finish singleplayer.

I'm going for the singleplayer right now with my bad self, and I have a few friends who have graduated but still come back and hang out on the weekends (what can I say..life after college must be somewhat boring!). I love to death the terrans and their silly little siege tanks.

By the way..has anyone noticed where the hobbits are going? Possibly...Isengard?

A killer game. I'd play you if it was.... 1999. Sadly, my ex-ex-girlfriend ran off with my CD's while we were dating. I guess some kind of payback?

Dude, Starcraft is one of, if not the best strategy game ever made!! i played the game for years, it's ridiculously addicting.

The only game that comes close to Starcraft would be Command & Conquer: Red Alert. I absolutely loved that game. The only problem is that the sequel fucked up the series. Red Alert was the last good C&C game.

I play Total Tech often. Its wickedly frustrating but addicting.. been a battletech fan since I was 9. So I've been into this for ages.. If you've played Mech warrior or Mech Assault.. you've played a game based on the Battletech boardgame =D Hit me up on AIM if interested. [cough] free[/cough]

Mech Assault was really neat but I perfered the older SNES mech games!

If you like those You'll like Total tech.. its the boardgame online. Mechwarrior3050 for SNES and Battletech for Genesis ruled.

It was the same as Battletech for Genesis.. Trust me.. =D Battletech as I said I have been into since I was 9.. the only thing I love as much as metal.
