stefan86's offtopic random retard thread - post away!

I have seen some episodes over the years. Sometimes I liked what I was seeing and other times it was beyond goofy. It almost seemed amateur at times so in the end I never committed to a complete watching. I do have a couple of friends that love it.

Not as awesome as the movie :p

the movie sucks

yeah, before watching it completely i was in the same boat as you pretty much - thought it looked dorky as hell. but it's actually super awesome, one of my favourite series :) of course, it's pretty cheesy sometimes, but at the same time, it doesn't take itself too seriously either so that's why it works. it has some truly great emotional moments and acting.

So a black cunt kills 2 people from his work and I barely hear about that on the internet. If it was white who killed 2 black reporters I wouldnt be able to open a browser without being flooded with butthurted leftists.

Seriously?? That is one of the only things I have been seeing since yesterday morning when it happened. All other news has slipped lower on the radar around here.

Internet is strangely quiet about this thing then. Oh well, ill just wait for massacre caused by white male, it will be fun to enter internet again.

In the meantime Europe is boring, only dozens of migrating corpses from the east and africa. They cant even run from their countries properly without dying during the trip lmao.

I have a legit question. Why do so many people seem to prefer to stream their music now? I know quite a few people on here use Spotify amd Last.fm. I don't like streaming anything, I like either a copy on my harddrive or a physical copy so I always have full access to my stuff.

This applies to shows, movies and music for me.

Music: Streaming is a means to test things out and also play things that I only have a passing interest in.

That said, if I like it, I buy it in some form or another. (Usually digitally, these days because I simply have too much stuff. I'm not settling down into any one area, I don't have any kids/people to pass stuff down to. If I really love the packaging, I'll make an exception.)

Shows/Movies: I'm just not enough of a show or movie buff. With very few exceptions, I'll watch a show or a movie once and then don't care to revisit it. If I do, it's usually years later, making owning a physical product more of a hassle.

I was never streaming music, i just recently started using spotify but just because im using this Zombie game app for work out and it works with spotify and i dont listen to music on my phone so its a must. But it sucks, it cant even get the genres right, it says folk metal, but its a mix of power, folk, melodeath, viking metal and crap like nightwish.

I like my music existing in physical word. If only i can find it and can afford the CD, im buying it. The rest im listening to on youtube or my mp3 until i can get it on CD.

I started using Spotify because I found out you can use it for free and without ads when streaming through the web player in a browser with an ad blocker :) I also am broke as fakk so I can't really buy very much music anymore. Spotify is also especially great because it opens up for a lot more music that I would have never listened to otherwise - broadens my horizons way more than in the past. If I watch a good movie online and I really like it, I'll buy it though. Same thing with music I suppose. But it has to be really good :p

Well I'm not necessarily saying I buy everything I have. Not by a long shot. I buy what I love and support, and the rest just sort of piles up. I'm a backup whore when it comes to media files so they carry over indefinitely, but it's all organized very well so it's not so noticeable. Actually I still have quite a few MP3's that I originally downloaded on Napster almost 20 years ago. :erk:

I guess if you hear a lot of new stuff through streaming services it makes some sense, but once I hear something I really like I want to have a copy in some form or another so I'm not reliant on a website or internet connection. I'm just glad you can buy digital more easily than steal it now, so I don't have to be the poor pirate I was in high school.

And I will be honest, if my onle choices are pirating or buying the digital product I will pirate it. I know im making exceptions with steam, but i trust steam to be living much longer than some obscure sites that i can get music from unknown bands from

So apparently this is Breivik's gf

I thought such mastermind and great fragger as Breivik would have something better than 2/10 :/
