I had a rant on Facebook about this but fuck it.
It's stupid to ban a flag from all forms of media in such a sweeping, knee-jerk over reaction. Pulling Dukes of Hazard off the air because of a flag on a god damn car? Give me a break. It's nothing but over zealous politically correct garbage and it's pathetic. Removing a flag from public sight does not erase every stupid thing that may or may not have been done in its name. It does not reverse what some jackass racists have done with their own interpretation of what it means.
If that's how we react then I say we ban Christianity as well, and ban anything containing an image of the Bible, for all the crazy shit people have done in the name of god.
I absolutely believe it has no place on a Government building. It does not represent the Unites States and it is not a state or municipal flag, so I am 100% behind removing it from public and government grounds. But banning CD's from stores for having the flag on them despite having absolutely no racist undertone? It's beyond ridiculous.
I guess some people would rather bury their heads in the sand and pretend everything is fixed just because you can't buy a Civil War game from Walmart anymore.

I agree 100 percent. My Right wing family members are going ape shit over this. I am all for the flag being removed from government buildings. But banning the flag on all forms of media is the dumbest thing I have seen.
I have an idea. Lets ban Hollywood from destroying classic cars cause it offends the enthusiast of them. You know damn well the directors would laugh their asses off.
