Tattoos are so normal these days I don't even register them when I see them. Everyone from bikers to lame Christian youth group types hasve tattoos, there is pretty much zero stigma regarding them unless you get a tattoo of a dick on your face and apply for a job at a daycare. At least that's the case around these parts.

If you have a design you like or something that has deeper meaning for you I see no reason not to get one, as long as you are not conflicted and thus might not like it later. The main reason I never got one is because it does not really click for me most of the time. I have contemplated getting a specific one but in the end I chose not to because I am not 100% invested in the idea.

got 5, both "meaningful" tattoos and others just for art. If you have to ask someone if they are ok with tattoos, then you probably should hold on on that idea. It's your own body, if you like it, then screw others people opinion. when someone comments negatively about one of mine, i just say "Well then aren't you glad that its in my body and not yours?"

but like like Caleb said, unless you have your face/neck tattooed, no one will really give a shit nowadays
