Studio monitors doubt

yup - they should do fine, if the card is unbalanced you dont need balanced cables unless your getting a ground loop or cable inductance problem

BTW I would not buy the "SSSNAKE" cable.

Thomann has also other cables like "Sommer cables". They are way better.
I got a few "SSSNAKE's" for free and all of them have some serious quality issues. (Even the guitar cables).

really?

i'm quite a heavy user of the sssnake cables, and i haven't run into one single quality problem as of right now.
they don't even sound bad....i did a comparison between using a ssssnake xlr cable and a sommer (or was it planet waves, can't remember) cable....didn't notice any difference.

now with the vovox cables that i use to connect the monitors to my interface, there was a huge improvement over the ssssnake stuff i had back then! but on the other hand, we're talking one single and weak signal coming from a mic or whatever in contrast to all the different stuff spread across the whole frequency range that's a full mix.

You are probably right, by the low price cant be a great quality cable.
