Stuff (boring as it is)

I dont think any team has ever gone through a whole season defeated (as far as I know) so we may set a record!! :headbang:

When do the Panthers play the Bulldogs? Thats my team, ill have to make sure i get on here to give you a roasting after the doggies hammer your team!

oh, and good luck with the record setting, that would be quite an accomplishment. :D

I'm pretty sure a team (I think it was Easts) lost every game of the season back in the 1950s - it HAS been done before, anyway. :)

I think the best game of the season this year will be Cowboys vs Panthers.

It certainly wasn't Eagles vs Warriors, whose idea was it to let a bunch of sheep rooting new zealanders into the comp anyway, they can get there fuckin own comp.

Bring back the seagulls i say,Wally will play for em.

Grr. I'm sick of people saying that the warriors should be out of the comp. What next - get rid of all the teams that aren't based in Sydney? Hey, let's bring back Glebe and University while we're at it! Bah.

Bottom line is that without a team from NZ in the comp, rugby league over there will suffer, and so will the international game (even more so than it already is).

Im afraid im with Koichi on this one, New Zealand shouldnt be in the competition, especially as they have nearly gone under already, which shows the support isnt exactly dynamite for the team over there........
I know what you mean Spiffy, but internationally the game is a joke, having a team in New Zealand wont fix that, we will still win every world cup! :)

And if it wasn't for their leagues club, the Panthers would have been gone years ago!

The reason the Warriors almost went under was because of poor management, had nothing to do with a lack of support for the game over there. Poor management (spending more money on fancy pre-game entertainment instead of developing a strong squad, for example, and buying high-priced players that were on their last legs) meant that the team didn't - couldn't - perform well on the field. Things have changed now, though, as we saw last year when the Warriors made it to the finals.

Jonah Lomu played rugby league as a kid, but went to union because they catered for young players better than the non-existent league did. Same with some other guy I can't remember who is now an All Black. Things are changing now, though, and the Warriors is one reason why.

You're all a bunch of philistines if you can't see why the Warriors shouldn't be in the NRL! Pah! Anyway, who knows, in twenty years time hopefully there'll be a fully-fledged first grade competition in NZ, and then we won't have to play below-average sides like the Eagles and the Panthers each week. :)

Of course Penrith would have been gone, everyone knows that, but now our leagues club owns just about the entire state :D

Below average? Thats giving us a lot of credit ;)

Yeah im gonna be a dad second time on monday..they are gonna perform a C-section unless the Baby gets itself out this weekend..shes 11 days overdude today :(

and on the footy bit NZ should fuck off to their own comp because it is the National Rugby League not the International Rugby League and since when has NZ been another state of Australia..dont bring up the Australian Constitution either just because it says that NZ is a state of Australia OK :p
