Actually I compiled a number of posts of the most outragoeus remarks I'd seen and thought I'd share them here. I'd hardly call it stealing, and I'm not claiming credit for originating them, so you can't really call it plagiarizing. I'm sure that many, if not most of the people here, have borrowed material another person posted or borrowed something said on another forum at one time or another. Material for posts has to originate somewhere- they don't just come out of the clear blue sky.

My only wish is that people would stop misunderstanding metal and embrace it as an acceptable form of music. Sure, hip hop and all its misogynistic, materialistic, and filthy ways push itself to the forefront of our culture and fucks up the minds of the weak, but god forbid that metal, a musical world full of artistic integrity, redeeming lyrical values, and overall musical greatness is shunned by society as a dark plague or something. Fuck, I HATE OUR CULTURE!!

Oh yeah, and I'd also wish for an unlimited supply of money and immunity to all sickness.

Only mainstream rap and hip-hop and rap finds it's way to the mainstream and it's the same with all genres. Most of the best bands from any genre wont get recognition, It's always been that way. You really shouldn't let it bother you since it will never have an impact on the underground metal (or any other genre for that matter) scene.

But it does have an impact on a lot of people's personalities and such and THAT'S what really bothers me. These people don't appreciate real music because their favorite artists don't know shit about music theory and are spreading a lack of musical prowess. It's the principle of the thing, man.
