Didn't feel like starting a new thread so I'll ask here. Is Xaphan from funeral the same Xaphan from Kult ov Azazel?

Hello. I didn't have time to shuffle through the whole thread, so I beg pardon if there's bands somebody already suggested.
Try:
Kruiz(russian old speed metal, I have got 1 album, tell me if you want it)
Master(of course)
Shah(russian thrash, I personally haven't heard myself)
Sodom(if you haven't heard yet, I think that's not very probable, though)
If you like creative music and yet say you haven't heard a black metal band you liked, you can opt for Arcturus. I haven't heard all myself, but they have the reputation of being some kind of artistic black or something.
Therion. But I think you already know them, though I didn't see them on your collection list.

The Arcturus I heard was pretty good stuff, but hardly black metal. I also enjoy parts of Vintersorg's new CD, but I wouldn't really call it black metal either (just the vocals sometimes, but musically it's closer to prog).
Anyway, this thread is really old, haha. I got a list of like 30 bands to add that I'm working on, so maybe somebody else can pick up these suggestions.

Omnium Gatherum (FIN) released their debut album 'Spirits and August Light' last month. It's a pretty good lecal band playing melodic death.

Total Devastation is another band from my town and it has partially same line-up as Omnium Gatherum. Music is some kind of modern death metal enhanced with machines. Debut album coming out June. Worth checking out.
