The whole business is changing and you should HOPE a shitload of people download your stuff anyway.

Everybody owns a ipod at the moment, and (if i may qoute SOS here...) its not about owning music anymore but having the access to it.
The more people that download your stuff, listen to it alot on the ipod, and like it, the more that will come to a show and buy a shirt or 2.

You can trust me that a Suicide Silence, Whitechapel, JFAC (all band that became popular through.. you got it...internet.myspace) whatever.. are making quit some money on merch because they have a shitload of good designs, and thats were the money which people spent on cds first is going now.

I also feel MOST cds (there are some that are realy worth buying for the packaging aswell) ar not realy worth spending the 15 euro's on.

but at the end of the day its some generic fucking metal shit with some demon thing sitting on a chair looking badass with a couple of metal looking fonts thrown in
£10 for that in a little plastic case? fuck off.

You said it yourself, this is a forum of opinions. The reason this forum is great is because we can all post them, and they're usually met with fairly intelligent discussions and arguments. Yeah I post the occaisional thing that's total hyperbole, but I'm the 18 year old and you're the guy old enough to be my dad that should by all logic be the bigger person and realise that 18 year olds talk a lot of shit.

I'm keeping my hands of the discussion and further more don't mean to be dick hear..but i gotta say i heard some weird story's going on man, you losing all tracks of an the The Abscess recorded and disappearing of the face of the earth, being way late on a Salt The Wound mastering job and confusing the guitarplayer with the bandmember of another band and therefor not answering calls hahaha, etc...

well Seizure... the world, including Chris R. and Laurent know perfectly well what happened to me on the abcess.. i have no recollection of even starting that album... i was too busy in the process of dying and going blind from a huge tumor in my head, so you'll have to forgive me if i take a pass on that one... especially seeing as how the band and label have already given me one. the STW album, not that it's any of your business, was late thanks to the mix engineer, not me... there were no lows in the mix.. tried a few times to get back a mix with some lows.. didn't happen.. finally just had to master what i had and turn it it... and are you seriously calling me out on once confusing 2 band-members that i only ever spoke to on the phone, when i work with something like 30 bands a year? this is not about you seizure.. it's not even about me... it's about the sense of entitlement some kids have today... like they are owed the right to do anything they want.

having said that, i really wasn't aware dodo was only 18... that definitely would have tempered my posts had i known he was that young.
