Sunn Beta Lead.

so you bought it . I saw it online some time ago when i was searching what sunn amp that rise and fall guitarist was playing trough. He has a sweet setup with that jcm 800 2205

The day it got online i dropped all worked and got it haha, had to carry that monster through the train/bus and all haha
It was worth it though, we even got two know in drdoom, the guitarplayer ordered one from amerika.
We have about the same guitarsetup as rise&fall know haha

Made a rehearsal demo with drdoom to check out the new songs, and used only the beta leads on bass and guitars this time.
Drums are a a bunch of crappy mics we had laying around, thomann condensers for 50 euro, some sm57's and 2 karaoke mics on toms haha, kick is dm5 trigger/fusion sample.

Guitars is: gibson sg+emg81+Tubescreamer+V30 marschall cab.
Bass is: Basscollection bass into beta lead, preamp out into sansamp bdi.

I really like the guitar tone, although the sound is a bit dark compared to the drums. Sounds very cool! You've always had really good guitar tones.

Man, that sounds pretty fantastic. As much as you slagged the recording setup it really sounds great, especially for that type of music.

Which preamps, DAW were used??

While we're on the subject of SUNN, how do you guys feel about SUNN speakers and cabs?
I'm not up with the joneses on most of thier stuff, but I used to have a bigass SUNN poweramp that I loved.
