I am AMAZINGLY bummed about this


this was truly a phenomenal band who did what THEY wanted and didn't fit into a specific musical 'box' (evidenced by many songs on Younique - Detect: Myself is one of my all time FAV tunes from them)

And WHY is just an incredible song

I too discovered them after discovering DT with IMAGES and right before I found Symph X


Thankfully I was lucky on two accounts with these guys:

-They were one of the motivating reasons that I went to PP 2 (first timer) and saw them live and do WHY

-I was lucky enough to win the drawing in their contest to help them pick which songs they would include on the double live album and Bernd put my name in the CD sleeve credits


DAMN this sucks.........

Damn, this sucks. I still think Younique is one of the most underrated discs ever. Glad I saw them at PP2. Guess my hopes of getting a longer set and a new CD some day are done now...

This is one band whom never got the notice they should have. While I felt their first album was far better than anything that fallowed. But still was a great band. However the industry is a crazy place these days. So I can understand them not being able to keep things going.
