I guess this is a band that rarely gets mentioned in the "similar to opeth" threads, but Treading in the Wake of it All are every bit as good as To Bid You Farewell and imo better.

You know, this is what makes this forum suck. Sure if you think they're worthless or they blow, go ahead and say it, but can't you explain why? A post like the above has absolutely no value because it just makes a statement and doesn't explain it. If you type out some reasons why you think it sucks (for example boring song arrangements, crappy production, no original melodies etc...) at least you can discuss it with some other people.
Btw I don't even know these bands so this was not a fanboi defensive post.

why the hell does he have to explain why? if you said you didnt like Rocky 3 or cream corn, then i wouldnt fucking ask you why. get over yourself, converge really DOES suck, and him telling you a few reasons why they do isnt going to make you feel any better on this forum, stop whining.

^ you really think it ends there? several days ago i listed several reasons as to why moonsorrow is absolute ass...and i STILL had people continuing to tell me to just "keep listening" or "listen to more songs"...as if i was just missing something about a melodeath band after the 5th song.
