I know this post is going off topic but i have to put my 2 cents in.
First of all PL weakest Um what about self titled and damnation?
anyway I would put V and DWOT over PL and Odyssey
I also think its great they put out a couple of albums that sway away from what they were doing , I would be very suprised if they follow the same formula as there last two almost like they weened there way into being a full on metal band , If thats what they choose i personoly will still buy it there all to talented to ignore , But true hope is to bring back the Prog

Seriously? With all due respect - have you listened to the album? PL is the only song he doesn't scream on.

I guess it depends on what you think of as screaming. I get the point. Russell has a very aggressive edge to his singing on PL, lot of grunt in the voice, but I don't really look at it as screaming. Except for a couple parts of Seven maybe.

If I can remember correctly, Russell's most aggressive screaming wasn't even on Paradise Lost, but on The Odyssey, in the middle section of King of Terrors.

Sure, there may be some scream-type stuff on songs like Domination and Seven, but it never really bothered me. If you listen to other metal bands try to scream like that, you'll be begging for more Russell!

I too wish Russell sang more clearly on PL. That said, I've grown accustomed to the harsher tone on the album. I just wish I didn't have to become accustomed to it.
