System of a Down

Before you actually take the drivers test dont you have to take a 5 hour course ?. That's what i've been told by many anyways. Someone does not just get in their car driving around the block or whatever you do for the test getting their license.

... what happened in the middle of the test. Did you have to do some weird turn or anything ?. Someone I don't know sitting in the car watching me drive would make me nervous.

As soon as I was finished taking the tst on the computer (the written part) I stepped back and saw that I passed. ----Then the power went out in the whole building (probably due to the excruciating heat yesterday). And they had everyone evacuated who were waiting. One of the policemen said to me ''whatever you did to the power, they're going to hate you for it!" heh.

They asked if I still wanted to take the driving part. I said yes becaue I'd been waiting 2 hours to take it, and just wanted it over with. So the nicest policeman ever took me out in my suffocating car which had been sitting in the parking lot all afternoon, frying. Traffic lights were out on the streets and people were goign a little nuts at some points, honking and such. I was SO confused and SO NERVOUS! ahhhhh I made some really dumb mistakes, but he was really lenient because of everythign going on, and because he was so nice.

So I had to come back today to get my driver's liscense after work (which was 2 hours out of my way...) and so now i have it! I think i'll post it in the photo thread so please stop by there on your way out! Have a nice day!

I love them.

They are about the only nu-metal (I don't consider them as such, but I know many do) band I can stand.

If you like System, check out Nomeansno, another of my favorite bands (but way more "punk" - think DKs).
hI dUDE IF YOU LIKE THE SYSTEM OF THE DOWN YOU SHOULD BE SHOT" THERE MELODIC METAL IS CRAP AND SO IS WERE THE ORIGNATE FROM GET LOST AND IF I HERE YOU PRAISE YOU ODEN WILL COME DOWN ON YOUR HEAD DICK"? from GERMAN_warriors brother"s of the north:heh: :heh: :OMG:

I don't play guitar. But it doesnt mean that i cant judge.
And I agree that actually majority of males musicians are better than females, unfortunally.

And wait, where does it show my age here?.. Seriously.

It's stupid to put in one line my age and my tastes (at least the tastes I have now).
If to follow your words - the person who says that Meshuggah has the easiest music ever should be around that 12...

Actually, it seems like most good female musicians go into classical music. Kind of a genocultural thing, I think. Classical music fits the female stereotype better. Playing an instrument does make you a better judge imo. I think your age is in your profile. Mushuggah rules. As does coffee. SOAD, I'm a little iffy on. They sort of fall into that realm between good music and bad music. Some stuff is really genius, although usually it is just a riff or a sound. I haven't heard a whole song by them that I didn't have a problem with. And yes, they are a little sloppy. I give them a B+ mainstream standards, and mabye a D+ metal standards.

EDIT: WTF am I talking about grades? I fucking hate grades, the worst part of school. God, I'm sorry for this post. . .

I dont play guitar, but I play fucking drums.
About females and classical music - I agree. But for some reason I know more males who LISTEN to classics than females.
It doesnt show my age when I look in my own profile, but whatever.
Meshuggah still rules. Coffee too.
I dont say SOAD are fucking awesome. But I enjoy many of their songs, whether somedy like it or not.

Females tend to be able to play pianos cellos violins etc.., or sing very well.

I'm not saying these are females instruments. It's just I rarely if ever see a good female guitarist or even a female drummer.
