Uh, duh, that's because we were raised differently from boys. We are given pianos and flutes and violins, boys are given guitars and drums and upright basses. Doesn't mean we would suck if you gave us a guitar and we learned to play it as well as we would learn the violin. And btw, violin is a thousand times harder to play than guitar. If a woman can play the violin, she can play the f-ing guitar.

How hard an instrument is to play would be dictated by who's trying to play it. I doubt there is any kind of proof what kind of instrument is more or less hard to play.

Why would a violin be harder to play than a guitar ?

That would depend on who the person is right ?

Both instruments have learning books and people to show your how to play it, or you can just figure it out.

Since you go to college and i'm some average person you should be able to make a really strong point making me look stupid.

No, Sus, it just depends of person. I cant imagine me playing guitar (well... maybe bass but still), but drums and piano go good. Other instruments are difficult for me. I tried. It depends of innate rythm feeling. Of your 'coordination' and many other things. I can learn to play guitar 10 years and still be a shit and my friend who plays 2-3 years will be in 100 times better.
