HEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYY there all you wacko sons o' bitches, rivetheads, headbangers, metal mad maidens and straight up sick ass psycho mother humpers!(Johnny D!) Hope all is well with you and yours. Well...it's another Saturday night and your favorite Uncle has switched from Skoal to the hard stuff....COPENHAGEN, baby! I dunno...it may be a crutch but this stuff is rocking my world, and I am not having to eat 3 bowls of Fruity Pebbles at midnight anymore just to get to sleep.
So as I was purusing your threads and tripping on nicotine, a new revelation hit me! (which also summons up a great Maiden song. am I rambling?) Anyways, I got the idea for a weekly thread called THINKABOWDIT, in which I will try and get you all to jump outside of the comfort zone, pull up a chair and stay a while, and rack your brains and wet your pants! Ok the last part is optional...but either way, this will be great fun. At least in my mind.
Some of you all may love this and some of you may hate it. Either way, I'm gonna lay my balls out on the table and go for it. If you like it then have fun and more will be on the way. If you hate it, feel free to pull out a wooden hammer and smash said balls flat. And give your mama a big kiss for me! hehe
Here goes week 1.
Let's say you've just been STRANDED ON A DESERT ISLAND. There is food, water, and all you need to be comfy and happy for a lifetime. Even some hot bodies that wanna get with ya! (This may be a nice change from reality! haha) The only catch is that there is NO music. Only the boom box and ONE mix cd that you created before the plane went down or the cruise ship sank. What have you.
So what I wanna know is, knowing that you could ONLY LISTEN TO THIS ONE CD FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, what songs would you put on it? You have 80 minutes and 700 mb. This is a true test of where your heart lies, because again you will NEVER HEAR ANY OTHER MUSIC AGAIN. So what songs would you pick and from which artists? I'm talking about songs that you never have and will never tire of hearing...that will sound just as great to you years from now as the first time you heard them! You can stick to metal if you like, but be true to your heart and soul! If metal is all you need, then put it down, but if you wanna put a little something else on there, then do it, baby ! DO IT!!!! Be honest. What are your favorite songs of all your life that could keep you happy for years to come????
I know you are all thinking, "Man there is no way. I love toooooooo many artists. this cannot be done" BULLSHIT. YOu have to do it or you'll never hear music again.
In other words, boys and girls, THINKABOWDIT!!!!!!!!!
