Tell me about Aeternus and Himinbjorg

I have read numerous reviews on both bands, mostly good ones. But none of these reviews have convinced me that either of these bands offer something I haven't heard before. Please describe these two bands and tell me some other bands that they are similar to. Thanks.

Aeternus's Beyond the Wandering Moon is a great mixture of black, death and doom metal.

I have 'Shadows of Old' by Aeturnus (only cost me £6 )

As Mac said, they play kind of a mixture of those 3 styles, probably more death, but they also include some pretty cool different instruments (bagpipes on one song!).

I think i'd recommend them, but most of the songs on that album do sound fairly similar, but there are a couple of awesome standout tracks. Other songs i've heard of their other albums are all very good as well, so yes, I would recommend them.
