All I know is that they were considered a frontrunner in the USBM scene, at least I'm pretty sure they were/are.

I think they were. I think they're good mid-paced BM. If you like any of the other USBM bands they have connections with (Weltmacht, Krieg, Nachtmystium, Twilight, Sacophagus), I'd say check 'em out. Start with the early stuff (their first 4 albums I'd say).
