Testing LeCto, it's awesome!

Hum... Impulses always sound dry, scooped and lifeless.
In this test I listen to something more like little eq adjustments and saturation involved. I think there are some tips & tricks with the reverb in combination with impulses that I don't know :err:
Anyway, awesome test. Very close to the real deal

hurr?
I wouldnt say that impulses "always" sound lifeless, sure it's still not the real deal of a well mic'ed tubeamp but I dont think that they always sound dry, scooped and lifeless
I wrote on page 1 what I did with the guitars (eq, saturation and so on...), nothing special with reverb though...
thanks man!

xmas friday!

btw i was testing this awesome plug myself, made a nice impression for sure. in the other way i couldn't achieve a sound even half as good as Mago's :D
That's because he's a mago, actually, he's a magician named GOB

hahaha thats awesome! I also make strange faces though :D

I know that it also means magician, but when a friend of mine came up with that kind of nickname we didnt know about it ;D (we were drunk, and he couldnt pronounce my name anymore, so "Marco" turned to "Mago")
my GF told me about it when we came together (shes italian) and I thought it was quite funny ;)

Going out and get another Harddrive, also putting the new powersupply into my pc this evening. if the copy of the old drive is bootable, I can make screens before I set up everything new.

Here you go

its quadtracked, so this are the mainguitars, panned hard left hard right.

Sorry that it took so long, but installing Cubase on my Girlfriends Laptop wasnt as easy as I thought it would be^^
I fucking hate Windows Vista
hope it helps

@ the input knob:
for this test I used my only guitar with passive pickups, so I guess if you want to try these setting with EMG's try boosting the input knob of SoloC.

no prob dudes ;)

many thanks...sounds nice what passives pu did you use?

its the stock pickup that came with my ibanez sz520qm, they say its
Duncan Ibanez (H) bridge pu
&
Duncan Ibanez (H) neck pu

dont know more about it, but I like them :D
generally the guitar is more than great for the price it had.
also plays really smooth, a pitty I dont play alot in B standard (set it for that tuning)

what settings you use for the mixsaturator?

I don't use a mix saturator, there's saturation on the Guitarbus coming from "DaTube" (comes with cubase).
its not the best saturation tool (if it is even, its just a tube preamp sim I think, but I use it for that kind of stiff) but I never digged too much into it, as ampsims wont end in songs for my band anway.
