Sadly there wasn't some awesome joke or follow up to that. I was just thinking that when I was eleven the heaviest cool stuff to be into was Kreator, Slayer, and Possessed. Death was out but hadn't really caught on, and that was right before any of us got wind of Napalm Death. Death metal wasn't even part of the vernacular at that stage. At least not commonly.

Hell man, I didn't even care for metal until about late 1999. All these young kids have an edge on me.

I just got tired of it at points when the scene seemed to just get bland. The last few years have been somewhat like that, with a few excellent exceptions.
