I'm not really partial to music, as it is. Though guitar always interested me. I suppose thats why I moved as far as I did, the lure of what can be done with one and how a stringed instrument can do so much.

I got into metal when I was 14 or 15, I believe... and metal is not the only thing I listen to, I probably listen more to non-metal music like jazz and classical music - I can't live without Beethoven and Sibelius. My boyfriend got me into renesance lute music recently. oh and I worship Tom Waits and Nick Cave...

I think I was about 7 when I first laid eyes on KISS – ALIVE!. My parents had a party & one of their friends brought it over. I’ve been a long haired degenerate ever since.

Yes, I know most of you hate Kiss & think they are far from metal, but at the time (1977) that was the heaviest music I’d ever heard.

i was really into punk before i got into metal. there are still occassions that ill listen to it because my best friend's uncle, brett guerwitz, is in bad religion and i've grown up going to their shows and stuff.
