2 things:

ARRGGHHH! I want my damned new Marduk disc! Ok, now I feel better.

Now, Papa Josh: can you recommend an Impaled Nazarene disc? I once bought Ugra-Karma on a whim and absolutely HATED it. Do they have anything else to offer me?

The new Marduk is great! The new drummer is very good, will not disappoint. Had mine in four days from the End.. and I ordered on a Saturday!

I've learned to order one thing at a time from them, it gets to me faster!!

As far as Impaled Nazarene, if you hated Ugra Karma, you'll probably not like alot of their stuff. But you should check out "Absence of War Does Not Mean Peace." Killer production, old school thrash sounding with contemporary elements as well.

"Nihil" features the guitarwork of one Alexi Laiho of Children of Boredom... oops, Bodom.
I like this one a lot too.

:headbang:

Here's my list.

Masterplan (yeah I agree about some of the solos but Jorn really does make up for those little blemishes)

Dionysus - Sign of Truth
Sinner - There will be Execution
Threshold - Critical Mass
Stratovarius - Elements pt 1
Genius - A rock opera.
Symphony X - The Odyssey

Let's see, here's what's been in my CD player as of late:

Amon Amarth - Vs. The World (this will probably not leave my player for a long, long time)
Kataklysm - Shadows & Dust (another of the superb 2002 death metal crop, this one's got legs)
Dark Tranquillity - Damage Done (everytime I think I'm tired of this album, I put it on again and am reminded of just how good it is)
Vehemence - God Was Created (perfect blend of brutality & progressive melodic death metal)
God Dethroned - Bloody Blasphemy (I'm very happy I found this band)
.hopesfall. - The Satellite Years (I can't believe I found an emo-hardcore band that I not only enjoy, I love)
Symphony X - The Odyssey (one word: wow)
Enslaved - Vikingligr Veldi (too bad not enough people know about this album, it's superb)
Naglfar - Vittra (I should've paid more attention to this Dissection-influence black/death metal band, but they own)

I can't seem to get through more than 20 minutes of Enslaved at a time yet, so I'm getting the full feel of the album today.

Though in my short attention span moments today, Coroner - Mental Vortex has been rocking my world.

Ulver - Teachings in Silence
At The Gates - Slaughter of the Soul
Danzig - 4p
Les Claypool - Purple Onion
Jerry Cantrell - Degradation Trip vols. 1 & 2
Black Sabbath - Vol. 4

ENSLAVED- Below The Lights
HELLOWEEN- Rabbit Don't Come Easy
DARKTHRONE- Hate Them
ENSLAVED- Monumension
EPHEL DUATH- The painter's palette
M.O.D.- The Rebel You Love To Hate
SEVEN WITCHES- Passage To The Other Side
VITAL REMAINS- Dechristianize

Right now I'm listening to MANOWAR's brilliant cover of "Nessun Dorma" from Warriors Of The World...

I love resurrected from the dead threads...

I've been on a near-non-stop Maiden kick of late, in prep for *cough* something, uh, very cool. Trust me. :D

Iron Maiden - The Number Of The Beast
Iron Maiden - Powerslave
Iron Maiden - Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
Enslaved - Below The Lights
Skyfire - Mind Revolution
Grave Digger - Rheingold

Holy shit, I can't get over how good Enslaved is, btw.

Oh and for the record PJ? That last Manowar album is teh shite! And I *like* those loincloth clad loons!
