The 5150 - Krank Rev Jr - Valve King Shootout!

So after 3 days of deliberation and comments we have come to the reveal on the amps in the poll:
75 % of you got it right!

A - Krank
B - Valve King
C - 5150

The amps in this test are:
Krank Rev Jr.
Peavey 5150
Peavey Valve King 1x12 Combo run though the cab.

The setup for each amp was identical other then EQ settings on the amp.

Ibanez Tube Screamer > Amp > Marshall 4x12 w/v30s > Single 57 just on the edge of the dust cap straight on right on the grill cloth. The files have no compression and no post processing AT ALL!

TS Settings for all 3 amps:

Tone - 12:00
Level - 12:00

I liked A, B was a little dark for my tastes and C was really good as well, I guess A just jumped out at me more

Amp B sounds like the Valveking to me. Amp A sounds like the Krank, and I'd say Amp C is the 5150.

I voted Amp A. Was way less mushy than the other two.

I voted for A. I liked C also, but it was just a little dark or something compared to A. Anyways, I think A is the Krank and C might just be the Valveking.

i'll guess that A is the krank, the top-end grind is a giveaway to me(at least i think so lol)

C sounds 5150 to me...smoother on the top, really full in the low mids

leaves B as the valveking, which sounds undergained and just not that powerful compared to the others

the top end is a bit extreme in clip a, which sorta leads me to think its the krank.. if it is ive had much better tones outta my rev jr when i had it!

But i rekon in comparison clip a is the weakest, ive never heard a valveking b4, so in this one im going

A 5150, B valveking, C krank is my guess.

Either way this proves to me that the Valveking isn't as bad as people seem to make it out to be. If that's all you have, you can get a pretty wicked tone out of it.

Anyway, A and C would probably sound pretty good blended.
