just wondered how many old timers are on here, like myself!

If you grew up listening to metal in the 80's, you know exactly what the Bay Area had to offer.
I still love, and listen to this stuff regularly.

Anyone else like:

Metallica
Megadeth
Forbidden
Exodus
Testament
Flotsam & Jetsam
Vio-Lence
Ugly American
Annihilator (I know, Canadian)
Cyclone Temple
Faith Or Fear

ERIC & JAMES got to be the worst singers of all time!!!

Most of the nds you listed are generic..

try EPIDEMIC -DECAMERON

Lucy in the sky playing dice with laughing Sam.
Images before my eyes of Lisa, Sally, and Diane.
All's clear in double now I shift my psychedelic gears.
Long slowly drifting seconds seem to last a thousand years.

I loved the early BAY AREA scene with classic METALLICA MEGADETH, SLAYER, TESTAMENT, VIO-LENCE (led to MACHINE HEAD),EXODUS, HEATHEN, DEATH ANGEL, MORDRED also(maybe not bay area BUT STILL GOOD THRASH) ANTHRAX, NUCLEAR ASSAULT, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, SACRED REICH, CYCLONE TEMPLE, ANNIHILATOR, GOTHIC SLAM (remember them), LAAZ ROCKET. I still love TESTAMENT, SLAYER, ANTHRAX, AND my current faves are SKINLAB and MACHINE HEAD.
