I've never heard of the term Big Three in Germany. Sodom, Kreator, Destruction?

That is correct. It's why it should only be American thrash bands in here since, you know, the Big 4 was 4 American bands.

No. They were the three that basically started the thrash scene in Germany. I mean, there are more German bands (Exumer, etc), but none were as influential as the big three

I was talking about different countries. Maybe Brazil, Australia, or Poland.

I'm sure there are, but the German and American scene had a huge influence on thrash as a whole, so that's why those two scenes get so much recognition

isn't that how every album is compared?

If it was then you could argue that South of Heaven isn't thrash metal because it's slower and more melodic than Reign in Blood.

EDIT: Or you could say that Death Magnetic is thrash metal because St. Anger sure as fuck isn't.
