I recently learned that alexi does not use the GP1000 (has broken, type), and is passed to the engl.

On the site of Eng says he uses a head? But which one? Use the head or a pre amp? I have not found pictures of the new set-up.

no, alexi continua ad usare il gp-1000, solo che per motivi di endoserment fa pubblicità alla engl anche roope...cmq in alcuni suoi video e performance live usa tutta la testata la special edition cn le el34....solo in bloodrunk usa una testa jcm800kk solo per i riff, ma per i soli sempre e solo gp-1000!....ultimamente so k ha aggiunto un chorus a pedale e non usa più effetti nell'intellifex..spero di esserti stato utile...)

Io ho letto che si è rotto in tour il GP1000, poi non sò di preciso. Ma davvero usa quella merda della special edition? Cioè tutto è quell'ampli tranne che professionale. Pensavo usasse il preamp di roope oppure il fireball.

Yes, the tone has more clarity and is more aggressiv. I will upload some new stuff within the next I think.

And yes, I think Trashed has the best rythm tone but nothing beats Alexis lead tone on RRF. It's easily the best tone I've ever heard from any guitarist in the world. I wish he would re-record the ETID solo with this tone.

che si sia rotto mi sembra strano anche perkè cè un modder che modifica i lee jackson ke è proprio finlandese, cmq alexi ha usato l'engl cm poweramp fino all'album HCDR, ed usava l'e840/50, cmq io ho avuto il powerball bellissima testata una delle migliori che ci sia, però fidati la special edition sarà un po meno aggressiva ma equalizzata bene tira fuori dei suoni cn qll el34 che sn fuori di testa, naturalmente a mio avviso fuori anni luce dal mitico tono che aveva alexi cn il gp-1000!..

What strings does he use, i know he makes commercials for DR strings

but in his instructional video he tells he used 010-056 strings, but i cant find that type anywhere.

only tpyes i can find going to 056 is 012-056.
and the maximum 010 i find is 010-052.

so what does he use, how can i get them, and are they any good.

coz i use EB strings now the 011-054 now for D-tuning. and thats tight.

i used normal DR before but they rusted quite quick in comparison to other brands.

hey everyone including spaghetti after midnight guy

i actually have a question: i have a lee jackson gp1000 and im thinking on using it to get a good rock, solid tone, and i pretend to get like a very solid defined lead tone as well. my only question is as lee jacksons distortion sucks why dont alexi and everybody uses a distortion pedal in front of the gp1000s clean channel (and an overdrive over all)? im thinking on getting a good valve distortion pedal for my purpose like the blackstar ht dual distortion. i dont have ways to try the lee jackson now as i sold my only valve amp (6505 1x12 combo) and i dont have any power amp or cabs

what do you guys think? will i get a good rock tone with it?
