Looking forward to Toxic Holocaust and Holy Grail at the end of July. A week later is Exhumed and Macabre. Around September 1 A Night with Amon Amarth at the House of Blues. I have seen rumors of an Anthrax, Overkill, Testament, Death Angel tour this fall. If it comes to Vegas you can bet your ass I'll be there.

Saw Children of Bodom and Devin Townsend in Norfolk VA a few night ago... Good show, CoB nailed everything they played. I was in the very front though and couldn't move the entire time... There was about 150 pounds of pressure pushed against me from behind and both sides the whole time. We were all unintentionally molesting each other basically. I walked away drenched with sweat, only half of which was mine, and the guy next to me had "pruned" hands from so much sweat. Pretty sick, but it was a good show.

They are really awesome, since I've seen them before Generally what you hear on the record, you can also hear live... amazing atmosphere and strange instruments. However, they played mostly Negura Bunget stuff from OM and the only 2 songs from their EP.

I heard that they will be launching their first LP at that festival, so I look forward to hearing it and eventually buying it.

Also, Sunset in the 12th House is a project of theirs, and I'm somewhat curious about it, since I haven't heard any songs before...

Saw Holy Grail and Toxic Holocaust Saturday night at a dive bar in the shitty, dangerous, crack whore infested section of Fremont Street in Las Vegas. I was impressed with Holy Grail. They sound a lot better live than on cd. Excellent power metal vocals and the dual piercing lead guitarists put on one hell of a show in guitar virtuosity. I recommend checking this tour our if they come to your town.

August 13th - Screening of Slow Southern Steel, followed by a show with The Gates of Slumber, Cough, and Earthling... Fuck yes.
