The concerts thread

I am really thinking about ducking out on the AA/etc. show in Worcester Saturday. It might not be in my budget since I just got a new phone :(

I'd like that too as I'm still deciding whether to go or not.

No, i don't know if Ohio laws required them to not use much blood or any other stage antics but they poured blood on themselves, that's it. They had the two pig head skulls on stakes and candles. I really enjoyed the show though but it seemed most people had a lame dick for the show. I was impressed with their performance.

Well, they sure as hell did a lot more than in Ottawa then. Here they had make-up, 10 candles and incense...that's it! Crazy....I'm still having nightmares from all this.

Not really, they did the same thing, there was a fog machine. And by make up you mean corpse paint i suppose, they wore that as well. Was a good atmosphere for the show, i don't know about frightening or any of that, but cool nonetheless.

I've seen mostly big name bands but there is a healthy metal scene in my home town which doesn't fit the scenery (south dakota). Lamb of God, Machine Head, Gojira, and Trivium played here last year and that was a good show accept for the fact that Randy Blythe was asleep backstage and didn't want to perform for us "rednecks".

You must come and behold the wrath of the norsemen.
If visibility is a problem you can sit on my shoulders :p

Fucking ridiculous. I showed up at 6:40 and they were setting up for Ensiferum. I missed The Absence and Belphegor. AA was done by 9:20.
What?
That's fucking retarded. Was there another show afterward?

No it was the only show that night.

I'm assuming House of Blues is starting their weekday shows extra early so they could get out early.
Pisses me off since i can't get off of work early every time.
Even though it was an all ages show, it was an older crowd (which i like, scenekids = fail).

When I went to AA it was a really young crowd but not the typical deathcore set we get around here, which was weird but awesome.
