Metallica, Soulfly, Exodus, Testament and Mayhem are coming here this year. Probably will skip Soulfly and go for the rest.

The most recent concert I attended was Deathfest VIII. Needless to say it was the greatest show on earth (fuck you DeMille)

Perhaps. Its about a 7 hour drive, but I love Deceased more than most things. Its the other bands that I'm not so crazy about, the majority of the bill seems like really mediocre slam bands.

I saw Maiden last night at the sold out PNC Arts Center. It was a good show and those old bastards still have a lot of energy. This was their first stop after Canada and every time Bruce brought up the Canadian crowd the entire stadium boo'd him.

Maiden was a decent show. Played mostly songs from BNW and DoD, with some classics thrown in at the end. Might've been my least favorite Maiden show I've been to though. Also, Dream Theater sucks.

I'm going to see Umphrey's McGee (prog rock) play at a beach bar in August with a friend of mine for his birthday. This should be fun. I loved Mantis and I heard they have a reputation for spectacular live performances.

In October I'm probably driving to LA for Katatonia/Orphaned Land/Swallow the SUn
Devourment/Cattle Decap on Halloween
American Carnage tour w/ Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax is sometime in Sep/Oct and that's about it.

There aren't any but other sites say they'll be playing two US shows in Chicago and Philly with 1349. I might actually go to the Philly date but I have no real friends that like black metal and I hate cities. We'll see.
