September 30th - Buzzov*en, Black Tusk @ Rocks Off Boat Cruise NYC

They're playing on a cruise ship that sails you around the Hudson River and by the Statue of Liberty and such. It's a 3 hour thing. Sounds pretty interesting, I'm there.

Seeing Cynic, Intronaut and Dysrhythmia at the Bowery Ballroom tonight. Not a fan of Traced In Air at all, but the openers are great and Cynic will be playing Focus in its entirety, and who knows, maybe Traced In Air is better live. Should be a good show.

You're one lucky fuck. I really wanted to see Intronaut play. They come to India [multiple city festival on overlapping dates] but go to the middle of nowhere, maybe the Indian equivalent of Peoria, instead of Bangalore.


In other news, there's this epic tribute gig for Dio on Sunday. It'll have 25 bands [including most of India's best], begins at 7 in the morning and ends at 11 30 in the night.

Don't have any of Dysrhythmia or Intronaut's albums, but I heard some of their stuff on youtube and I'm loving it more than Cynic.

I find that concerts are sometimes even better when you're hearing the music for the first time.

EDIT: Dysrhythmia was amazing, Intronaut was great but I didn't really like their song structures, Cynic was good when they played Focus, then got meh when they played Traced In Air.
