rahvin: Interesting. I've heard that motion can help some people relax. Auto travel doesn't affect me that way, though. Hmm, not sure what kind of bed you sleep on but maybe a waterbed with some wave motion might help? I used to own a waterbed but got rid of it before moving the last time. Who knows, it might be an option for you. They're sort of pain in the ass to assemble/disassemble but if the benefits counterbalance the negatives.... ?

fireangel: Ahh. Ok, I think I know what you mean now. The Mother Nature, karma, déjà vu stuff? Hehe. Well, that stuff is probably a result of my formative years. ;)

Rince/Undo: Hope you're both feeling better soon. Maybe you two should get a room? I bet that would help. :p

Rampage: Glad you're feeling well. Nice sig.

thanks for the thought, i'd give it some consideration. i suspect i'm more into motion i'm not the cause of, but i have to admit that the number of people who might be interested in rocking ersatz cradles for me is rapidly dwindling. :)

NF- REALLY FUCKING MAD  My dumbass brother deleted all of my word documents because they were taking up "too much space" FUCKING DUMBASS! I had so much stuff in there, stuff I've been working on forever! Not to mention how much this will fuck me up in school

Marduk: I don't think it's funny, though. I know how it feels to lose something really important to you like that. Ah, the wonders of having your own computer and 140Gb of disk space... ;) But, seriously, Zack's brother totally deserves to die a very horrible death (or to be severely punished, at least).

Well, I only have 14 gigs, but I can second that killing deal...

Yeah, his brother is an asshole, but it was also stupid of Zack not to back-up his files, if they were so important.

Zack, try some of those retrieval (or whats the word for it) programs, maybe theyll dig out something.

rahvin: I could be wrong but I think some waterbeds have an automated system for wave motion, so no external human force(s) are required. ;) I think the later ones came a long way from simply being a bag of water in a frame.

Another negative aspect of the waterbed is that some less-than-sturdy, multifloor apartment building owners over here will prohibit them because they're so heavy and could possibly cause structural damage to the building. This was another reason why I got rid of my old one because I've personally experienced a creaky sagging floor in one place I lived in with a waterbed. The room was above the laundry room and I would sometimes have lucid dreams about crashing through the floor down to the washers and dryers below before falling completely asleep. Scary shit! If you ever do consider one make sure it's going to be set up in a sturdy environment.

Tell me more about backing things up...
