The Glam Metal Thread

Yeah, I grew up on this stuff... Still love it :D Some good stuff in this thread (Cinderella, Badlands, Twisted Sister etc). This is what I think of for 80s Glam Metal. Fly High Michelle is one of my all time favorites, just something about that song.

Shotgun Messiah? before they went industrial-pop rock or whatever the fuck you want to call it... Harry Cody was one of my favorite glam/hair/pop metal players along with Bettencourt/Kotzen/Vai/Gilbert/Demartini
Kix-blow my fuse is a fun record...guitar playing is pretty boring and needs remastering though..

We've had some 80's metal threads before, but this has got to be the best one yet. :) Brandon...more good stuff! (and of course...you're right about Lynch :D) Jay...great picks! A couple I didn't even know of, but wish I did now!

Must not let thread die. This thread is already web browser destruction for me, but oh well

I fucking love that 80´s drums. Anyone got some info on what they used for drums processing? I did long serarch for it. All i know is, that Shipley/Lange used drummachine samples and gated reverb. But ther must be more crazy stuff going on....
