Well, i've got loooong dark brown/black hair. Reaches my waist. It's quite healthy, always in a good condition, which is good. And shiny too. (This was the boast thread, right? )
It's quite annoying though, too long. I've often got an urge to just cut it, but the world will end before i do that
I'd like to wear it open most of the time, but like i said, it's too long, gets on the way all the time and gets stuck everywhere and stuff. At home i always tie it up somehow, never a normal ponytail though. And it's often put up somehow when i go out aswell, but it looks better when it's open. I'm glad i have such good hair ^_^ (though i'll never stop being jealous of Lasse's hair's thickness bastard)

ps. I voted 'other' on the poll, because some guys look better with long hair and some look better with short (though most don't look good at all), So i don't really have preferences about that, just depends on the guy.

I have straight, medium brown, long hair (boring I know). I just cut it and now it goes just below the shoulder blades. Before that it was down to the middle of my back, but it the hot Texas summers it just gets too uncomfortable and I cut it shorter.

On guys I prefer long hair. My dear husband has long dark brown hair (with gentle natural waves) which goes to the middle of his back. He had to cut it off for a job once, and though he was still cute with short hair, I was glad when he could grow it back out! sexy!!! grrrr!!! My dad says we look like matching hippies.

Nah. I agree with her. Some guys look better with long and others with short hair.

Like Tutu (again), I have long hair that's somewhere between black and dark brown, and reaches almost mid-back. I think I need to cut it soon. Get a little bothersome, especially in this climate. When it's wet, it gets a little wavy (doesn't take much). I'm quite happy with my hair. Since I have virgin hair, it's shiny and I rarely get split ends. One complaint though would be that it's too fine. I'd like it to be a tad thicker.

I have brown hair, reasonably long (not cut for 2 and a half years). It's in naff condition though, really needs a trim and tidy. Nearly all the time I have a ponytail, since when it's just loose it's bloody annoying and never does what it's told. I'm only without ponytail just after I've washed it or when I go to bed.

you guys should in fact do it in private, but mine would have been a good technique to make things easier.

i have short hair and i prefer people with no head and limbs.

Another short-haired metalfan reporting in. I've had almost shoulder long hair once. It didn't look particularly good and I can't be bothered to take care of my hair even when it's short, so I'm shorthaired since two years ago. And will probably be until I die.

I have long black hair that goes to the middle of my back...its been growing for around 3 years now. it has these really really annoying curls at the end..but other than that..i like my hair, its extremly thin..to the point where you cant even see it..and i never had a split end so far . well the reason i grew my hair out was because all the people in my school looked the same..all short clean cut hair..i hated it...so i grew my hair out, but sadly..i started a fad..and everyone is growing their hair out now ...only a minor annoyance tho..i can deal :Spin:

here we go: blond/dark blond and a bit wavy. long, but not very long (yet). I´ve thought about dying it and maybe some time in the future I will, but I like it the way it is as well. basically, it´s the one thing about my appearance I´m pleased with. I´ve only grown a bit tired of the whole "oh, you listen to *insert band or genre*? I thought you were a metalhead" thing...

ponytail at work and when needed, otherwise I much prefer it open.


about favourite male hairstyle I don´t really have that strong an opinion, so "other" it is.

I have reasonably long hair, not as long as some of you, but long enough. Light brown, although in a certain light it may look red-ish, and in another light it can look blonde-ish (according to some sources ). It's straight and fairly thick and cut in layers. It's alright I guess

Oh and I voted for long hair. I agree it depends very much on the person, some look stunning in long and short hair, but long is teh nice

I had short mousie brown hair until I started growing it a year ago after dying it so black that it looked blue. It grew outward in stead of downward and to this day its still a big ol' ball of fluff. But Id love long tr00 hair, its just growing annoyingly at the moment. If i straighten or wet it it looks awesome IMO.

I have long hair, which I mainly wear open, but also need to put together somehow when I am doing something, otherwise it´s in the way all the time.

And I won´t cut it, it´s fine that way.

Long blonde hair here, women like it, but I should warn them that the rest of me usually comes along with the hair, which seems rather disappointing...
