I was born in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey, on 30th of November 1982. After completing a 11 yeared weary education life at TED Ankara College, fortunately I have graduated. I was continuing my education life in Bilkent University since 1999 and by June 2004, I have graduated... Listening Heavy Metal Music is as if my life style since 1995 and mostly from 1997. I like reading horror, fantastic or biographical books. I love being with my dog. In my spare times, I like studying. But unfortunately, I am often out of any spare time. I like wandering around with my love and with my other friends.

but no, you're just mistaken in thinking i'm great, something that comes from not knowing me well enough. if you were to get closer and closer to me, appreciation would become inversely proportional to proximity, to the extent that by the time you'd be supposed to fall madly in love, you'd likely want to shoot me in the foot instead.

'bout what, my alleged, non-existent awesomeness?
to cut a love story short (sorry, i always wanted to make that pun), i don't really know what exactly is wrong with me, but it seems that when it comes to superficial acquaintances i have no match and basically make new "friends" wherever i go, but the more a relationship with an individual becomes close, the more i appear to be full of shortcomings, with the result that some push me away earlier on, others later, but so far nobody - with the possible exception of my two best friends, who are however not in a sentimental relationship with me so the following wouldn't apply - went all the way to assume i was great enough to, say, raise a family with me.

@rahve: the thought of you raising a family with alfred has me in tears of laughter. substitute me for alfred, and it's only slightly less funny. if i can give my opinion on your predicament, though, i wouldn't make a big deal of good first impressions rapidly being dispelled: i find it quite normal and not a good indicator of an individual's worth. i have a number of people in my life who were either starstruck by me at first sight or the other way around, and they belong to both genders: in this specific moment i'm thinking of my friend daniela, who looked the world to me and vice versa at first, but after a year of hanging around together i must say that full (emotional) intimacy never happened, i have my doubts about her, and she probably has her doubts about me. maybe we could even drift apart in a short time, even though i think that seeing each other daily at work will somehow keep us together. i don't harbor any dobut about my absolute worth, or hers for that matter, as a consequence of this or other similar situations. it's just the projecting of wild expectations on new people that generates this kind of evolution - it's unavoidable, but it's wrong to overrate or be overrated at the start, not to be reasonable afterwards.

@hyena: true, yet one would probably wish things would follow a more consistent pattern, where appreciation of someone's worth is less frantic and more regular, in its highs and lows alike. so if it stays stable instead of sky-high in the beginning, it might seem safe to say that no sudden outburst of love or hate is in sight, and vice-versa (vice-versa as in, a steady increase or decrease is a tell-tale sign of possibilities, some scary and some not).
i'm still unconvinced of my worth to boot: the whimsical nature of other people's enthusiasm merely corrupts the os files, and i can't process the relevant and tangible information that should give me reasons to trust my qualities.

@rahv: you need to focus on a small number of people who know you well, as basic as it may seem. probably individuals who have known you for ten years have an opinion that is not whimsical, no matter whether is good or bad. and there's always a select few that think before developing affection (of course, in these cases we get scared and start wondering whether they will develop affection at all). the point is that at any level of bonding there's one-night stands and long-term partners, and we shouldn't let this get us down...

Works as a teacher, played in a cover band, no children, I've been together with my fianceé for a little over a year,was engaged once earlier, was intrudused to metal for the first time in '82 (although I hardly appreciated it at the time), got seriously interrested in '87, was introdused to the norwegian black metal scene in '92 and followed it closely until '97, when it became too thinned out, was introdused to the Gothenburg scene in '94 by Lunar Strain, didn't get into Dark Tranquillity until '95, but I have been ever since.

the first important thing in my life has happened in 1992 when a friend of mine forced me to listen through "And Justice For All"... my life changed (well that year happened another thing but... never mind). In 96 I heard Morningrise and my life changed for the second time. The last april I got my degree in Computer Engeneering. And my life has changed again... nothing too important inbetween

Yes, I like them quite a lot, but I wouldn't have one as a pet for now (even if I was living on my own). Cats, dogs, rabbits, goats and many sorts of pets and animals are nice.

Terry Pratchett with Neil Gaiman as a good second. I don't read very much, so I can't say that I have a very wide scope of authors to choose from. Nevertheless, Pratchett feeds my mind very nicely. Which reminds me that I really need to read Good Omens.
