Was it freezing cold though? In my first season of football, when I was 8 years old, we played a match when it had been raining non-stop all week, and still was while we were playing. The temperature wasn't far from zero, and there were huge pools of water in the middle of the pitch, one of them being nearly a foot deep. It was ridiculous, but for some unknown reason we played anyway, and lost 2-1. I'd have loved to play in that weather a few years later on, but back then it wasn't what I wanted from a Saturday afternoon.

Past: I was born in Cardiff, Wales, and was taken to Mexico City when i was very little. I studied from kindergarten through highschool in Mexico City. I always loved science, and when i was 14 i started loving music and literature. I was often disappointed and hurt when it came to love.
Present: I live in Cuernavaca (a couple dozen miles south of Mexico City) by myself and study genomics. Happily single.
Future plans: After genomics, i want to live in northern Europe (preferably Göteborg or Stockholm) and study physics, neurology and whatever career has to do the most with the terraforming of Mars (yep, that's right, four careers). I want to write books (both novels and science books), have a metal/gothic/gothicrock band and do research all my life. If a Mars-terraforming project takes place and i'm called by NASA or whatever to be one of the pioneers, i wouldn't hesitate one second before accepting.
