I agree to some extent. I REALLY like sin after sin album though. I like a couple of hendrix songs but yeah, I do struggle to get into the other stuff ESPECIALLY rush. Like a few zep songs, very rarely listen to them.

Wolfmother are mediocre at best, and I love Rush. Geddy Lee really opened my eyes to playing bass.
